Evolving the ModelIn the past, Human Resources departments could be reactive; waiting for a business need before action. They also were confined to their HR area of expertise and there was few crossovers within HR specialties. Their approach was to work in silos, by specialities. This has led to a lack of consistency between the HR different programmes. Today, HR has to be proactive and work in a collaborative way, both within HR and with the Business.
